Kampala: City Guided Walking Tour with Kabaka`s Palace
Kampala reveals itself best on foot, where a fruit stall, crowded taxi rank, colonial monument, and royal palace can all appear within the same half-day. This four-hour tour takes you through the city’s working heart, ending at Kabaka’s Palace and its sobering Amin-era torture chambers.
I like the small group limit of six, which gives you room to ask questions and adjust the pace. I also like the mix of ordinary Kampala life and major landmarks, especially Owino Market and the Old Taxi Park. The main drawback is the heat and demanding walking, with some rough or unpleasant stretches between sights.
